For the price it is not a waste if you have to support glasses in your home. The plastic of the kit is junk and you wonder where the other two tools are because it comes with three tools but places for five. The tools are decent for the price. They are better than most tiny kits have. They are not professional quality. My experience seems to be different than the other posted reviews. My kit is not all one size of any part. There are many sizes of most parts. One problem I immediately found was in all the nose pads there was only one (not a pair) that was the type and size my glasses use. I needed a screw. The one I put in was too long. However it worked out well. That screw was always getting loose due to loose threads in the glasses. I clipped it short after installing with diagonal cutters and hit the end with a file a few strokes. The damaged end has kept the screw in place for months whereas before it was loose every two days. For that reason I have been happy. As another reviewer noted, the screws do have other purposes with small electronics.
